Before you meet the rest of the team below, I would like to first introduce myself. I am Geoff Arnold and I have been fitting bathroom suites since 1968, which I feel gives my company, Oxford Bathrooms, a leading edge on other bathroom fitters.
I run a family based company where a number of the key people are my relatives or I have known for a number of years and they feel like a part of my family!
I believe that’s why you will find we have been so successful for so long. Everyone working with me prides themselves in what they do and have strong family morals. The work we undertake is not just ‘another bathroom for another client’ but another successfully completed project for the family business.
Geoff is the founder of the company and has been in the trade since 1966. He formed what is now the present company Oxford Bathrooms in 1968, refurbishing bathrooms and a number of kitchens along the way. Nowadays he concentrates the company solely on bathroom refurbishment so that Oxford Bathrooms can be the leaders in their field. Therefore, when you first request a quotation or make a call to Oxford Bathrooms, it will be Geoff that you speak to. Geoff and his wife Mary have been married for 43 years and have four children and six grandchildren. He has a life long love of miniture dachshunds, doting on his two dachshund crosses, Toby and Rosie. He started fish keeping at the age of three and has always had either a pond or a tank to look after. He now has finally reached his life long ambition of collecting koi carp and sturgeon in his own pond – as long as he can keep that pesky heron away!
Geoff and Mary’s second oldest son recently joined the company this year after working for a number of years air crew for British Airways. As he learns the ropes, he is working alongside of all of the team assisting them in all areas. With Geoff’s help, Chris will help run Oxford Bathrooms in the future.
Kevin is Mary’s cousin and has worked for Oxford Bathrooms for a number of years. His role in the company is varied but he always there when we need him, either to help on a refurbishment or as an extra pair of hands, we can call on Kevin to fill the gap. He’s a very flexible and willing worker and a great asset to the company.
George The Dragon is the Oxford Bathrooms mascot. George appeared on one of Geoff’s first vans after the family’s regular holidays to South Wales. And of course, what else would you call a dragon?! You can spot George in all of our portfolio photos as proof of our workmanship.
Andy is Geoff and Mary’s son-in-law, their top fitter and an asset to the company having worked with Oxford Bathrooms for a number of years. He’s a top notch multi-skilled installer and is thoroughly liked by all the clients, with an excellent track record. If you want to keep him smiling, just offer him a cup of tea!
Mary has been married to Geoff since 1973 and is the backbone of the company who you will rarely see, but is busy working behind the scenes helping to oversees the accounting and necessary paperwork – and generally keeping us in check!
Kerry is Mary and Geoff’s youngest child with a background in marketing. She mainly helps out in the office with advertising and website design. Working one evening a week, she and her dog Macey can often be found in the office in time for dinner!
